You are assured a warm welcome when you join us for worship. We have a mixture of styles using both the old and the new. Details of our regular worship are shown below; details of other worship can be found on the pew sheet, or by contacting the Priest in Charge or one of the Churchwardens (please see the Contacts page).

Worship at The Ascension
Sunday Worship
8am Said Eucharist (Book of Common Prayer)
A quiet and meditative liturgy using traditional language
(lasts about 30 minutes)


10am Parish Eucharist
A modern liturgy with hymns, music and a sermon
(lasts about 70 minutes)

Children’s Worship
Children are included in the regular church worship, but spend part of the time in the hall for Sunday School, although on certain Sundays children stay in church and take a full part.

Weekday Worship
Tuesday 7pm Said Eucharist
Wednesday 10am Said Eucharist
Thursday 7pm Said Eucharist

on the first Friday of each month at noon there is a Said Eucharist with prayers for healing

Sick and housebound Communicants
Communion can be taken to those unable to come to church, usually once a month.
